AUDITIONS: Spring Awakening

SPRING AWAKENING

Seeking company members between the ages of 16 and 22 for NexGen Youth Theatre's Spring MainStage production of Spring Awakening. All roles available. (15-year-olds who are familiar with the show are also welcome to audition. Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis.)

AUDITIONS/CALLBACKS

Auditions will be held on the following two dates. Sign up for an audition slot below:

• Friday March 8th 5pm-7pm
• Sunday March 10th 1pm-3pm

Callbacks will be held on Sunday March 10th at 3:15pm. You will be notified shortly after your audition if you are requested back for the callbacks. For this, you will need clothes & shoes that you can move in. Callbacks will be done by 5:30pm at the latest.

Prepare 32 bars (or a short cut) of a pop/rock song or contemporary musical theater song. Accompanist provided (bring sheet music). Please bring a second contrasting song in case we want to hear more. Bring a headshot/resume if available.

REHEARSALS AND TECH

Rehearsals are Fridays from 5pm-9pm and Sunday's from 11am-4pm starting March 22nd in Midtown Manhattan (Ripley-Grier Studios and/or Pearl Studios). There will be additional rehearsals some Saturdays and in theater May 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th at the Sanctuary Theater (165 West 86 Street, New York, NY 10024).
