ABOUT THE SHOW

The winner of eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Spring Awakening explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood with a poignancy and passion that is illuminating and unforgettable. The landmark musical is an electrifying fusion of morality, sexuality, and rock and roll that has exhilarated audiences all over the world.

It is Germany, 1891, a world where the grown-ups hold all the cards. Headstrong Melchior and naive Wendla stumble into each others’ arms, passionate and curious, while anxious Moritz struggles to live up to the stringent expectations of society. With only each other for guidance, this group of young men and women travel the fraught and rocky path of adolescence, discovering their bodies, their minds, and themselves along the way.

SCHEDULE

Rehearsals and performance will take place at The Center at West Park's Sanctuary Theater (165 West 86 Street, New York, NY 10024). There will be 1 or 2 band rehearsals during our tech week in the theater (May 27th-29th), a dress rehearsal on Thursday May 30th, and performances on May 31st and June 1st. The audition form will ask for your availability.

AUDITION

Find the appropriate instrument in the breakdown below and click it, that will download one or two songs we would like see recorded. This can be done very simple on a phone camera and then uploaded to Google Drive, Dropbox or a private YouTube link. Once the video is uploaded, fill out the audition form below and paste the link there.
