WORKSHOPS
NexGen Youth Theatre provides a variety of one-day workshops, including our monthly Broadway MasterClass (Ages 14 - 22) and Broadway MiniMaster (Ages 8 - 15). Currently taking sign-ups for February and March, April announcement coming soon!
BROADWAY MASTERCLASS
Ages 14 - 22
Led by a seasoned Broadway guest performer, the Broadway MasterClass is a monthly workshop that focuses on musical theatre audition technique and acting through song. During this 2 and 1/2 hour MasterClass, each student will perform a 32-bar cut of an audition song of their choice, and receive personalized coaching and feedback from our Broadway guest artist. The workshop culminates in a Q&A and group photo!
To ensure proper work time, these workshops are limited to 15 participants. If sold out, tickets to audit the class will be made available.
BROADWAY MINIMASTER
Ages 8 - 15
The Broadway MiniMaster is a 2 hour monthly workshop focusing on one popular musical. A Broadway guest artist who performed in that musical will be coming to teach a dance combination of the original Broadway choreography! In addition, students will learn a vocal selection from the musical, and be coached on acting, vocal and dance technique through the material. The workshop culminates in a Q&A and group photo with our Broadway guest artist!
The workshop is limited to 25 participants.
